Note 1: Oral introductions for larger meetings can really be slow. One solution is for the leader of the meeting to say: "Raise your hand if you are an X"

Note 2: Sharing volunteers can be solicited by using the "Raise Hand" feature of Zoom. It appears Zoom keeps track of the order of hands being raised. Once the person shares, they can call on the next person on the list and hit the "Lower Hand" button. (See this Youtube Video for how to do this.)

Note 3: If you regularly read small snippets of text during a meeting, consider doing larger portions of text as each handoff is slow when done via Virtual Conferencing.

Note 4: If you need to hold a business meeting, please schedule it in the calendaring website. Please don't impede on other meetings.

Note 5: Advanced and optional: You may be able to rename Participants using the Participant Panel (the list of participants) if their name doesn't show up (like if they call in). You can identify who is talking in the participant panel because the microphone icon will move up and down with the volume of the person speaking. It's tricky to do this, but it can help you call on someone who has not properly entered their name or has called in.

Note 6: If you want to view all participants at the same time in a grid, instead of just the person speaking, you can hit the "Gallery View" (upper right in Windows).

Note 7: Muting will likely be a problem. Namely, some people will have difficulty muting their microphone. (See this Youtube Video for how to mute/unmute.)
